A new name for electric reel fans, LEOBRITZ opens a new realm of opportunities for anglers. A family of smaller-size electric reels, LEOBRITZ are small enough to hold comfortably whilst fishing, being able to enjoy the fight of the fish with the added assistance of the electric reel is a great feature for those who can’t fish with a regular conventional reel.
LEOBRITZ reels feature Daiwa’s BRITZ motor concept, a powerful brushed motor which delivers instant power when engaged. BRITZ motors are robust and offering high torque, so even with such small electric reels can deliver surprising amounts of winding power & strength.
LEOBRITZ models have programmable jigging functions, able to retrieve metal jigs in a series of pre-programmed patterns with the angler’s choice of retrieval speed. This makes the strenuous act of high-speed jigging an attainable dream for many more anglers than ever before.
LEOBRITZ can be paired up with any of your favourite Daiwa overhead jigging rods or the specifically designed TANACOM or SEAPOWER for handheld electric fishing.

■ DOT SCREEN DISPLAY
Out in the field it can be tough to read anything on an LCD screen due to sun glare or sunglasses. The LCD screen displays large letters/numbers and uses a dotted LCD screen to make it easier for anglers to see the display. Just let the D-Vec letters on the start screen lead you to the exciting world of Dendoh reel fishing.

Technologies
■ JOG POWER LEVER
One-finger operation, the JOG Power Leaver allows for instant, variable speed, and power adjustment without having to take your hand off the rod.
■ FALL BREAK DIAL
This brake system allows you to set instantly the falling speed of the rig by operating the dial. It also prevents backlash (twists caused by a slack line). Adjust the strength of the brake depending on how much the boat is swaying, how heavy the rig is, etc.
ATD gives you the power and poise to take control of whatever crosses your angling path. ATD is a combination of seven large carbon washers and improved drag grease. The new grease exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag startup. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia. When combined with the structural changes to the ATD Drag washers, results in a smoother stronger drag from the initial hook up, allowing you to concentrate on the fight. This tough drag function will adjust according to the pulling of fish.
■ ATD

■ MAGMIGHT Structure
A structure that maximizes the power of the motor by making full use of the limited space in the electric reel. Achieves Hi power Hi speed in a small space. In addition, the cooling effect of the motor has been improved, contributing to further improvement of the motor driving efficiency.
■ FF Structure
Structure that design the reel to low profile by placing the motor, which should be called the engine of the electric reel, in front of the spool, making it easy to hold and use the reel. In addition, a level wind was placed between the motor and the spool to enable a more compact design.
■ SYNCHRO LEVEL WIND
A mechanism that lets the level wind lower in synch with the rig, the spool rotates while moving side to side during line retrieval. Line lays more evenly thus allowing it to fall more smoothly, and also enhances drag performance.

Power supply
Daiwa’s electric reel is compatible with direct current (DC) 12V. It cannot be used with non-designated power sources, such as 100V AC for home use and 24V DC for ships. In addition, the voltage of the ship’s power supply is likely to be unstable due to the generator and wiring, and the protection circuit of the reel may be activated and the rotation may stop or become intermittent. In order to fully demonstrate the performance of the reel, please use Daiwa genuine electric reel battery.
