A next-generation bait reel with HYPERDRIVE design concept that aims to maintain the initial performance for a long time.
Equipped with HYPERDRIVE Digigear, it achieves increased strength and rotation feeling, and HYPER ARMED HOUSING (Al) realizes a compact yet strong body rigidity.
Cast Accuracy is also equipped with a spool φ32mm SV spool and supports a wide range of lure weights from lightweight lures. It is compatible with salt, and it inherits the features of the ALPHAS series for ease of use, from core anglers to beginners, as well as being compatible with various fishing species.
The long-awaited shallow spool-equipped model
Due to the improved spool response and the compact form unique to ALPHAS, casting is determined by a compact swing without increasing the input of the cast. In addition to low trajectory casting, high cast accuracy makes it possible to accurately shoot pin spots.

Next Generation Biaxial Baitcasting Reel Technology HYPERDRIVE Design
■ HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR
A newly designed gear system for baitcasting (biaxial) reels that pursues continuous strong and smooth rotation. DAIWA’s unique technology that achieves an increase in meshing ratio without reducing the gear tooth module (size), which is directly linked to durability, and realizes long-lasting initial smoothness.
■ HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORTA drive support system that achieves continuous smoothness and winding strength and lightness. By supporting both ends of the pinion gear with high precision with two ball bearings, the input from the handle is not attenuated, and it is possible to wind up powerfully and lightly even when a load is applied.
■ HYPER-ARMED HOUSING (AL)A housing system that firmly supports the internal structure with high rigidity and high precision, and produces precise winding comfort and power. It is a necessary condition to use a metal material for the frame, which is essential, and by combining it with a side plate or set plate, it is possible to continue to demonstrate the basic performance for a longer period of time. In this series, aluminum alloy is used for the frame, gear side plate, and dial side set plate. It is a full metal housing specification that achieves robustness and unrivaled strength.
■ HYPER TOUGH CLUTCHA clutch system that not only has a sharp on/off trigger that keeps sliding thousands and tens of thousands of times, but also has extremely few troubles even in seawater with high salinity. It boasts a state-of-the-art insulation structure that has already achieved a 99% reduction in the number of sticking repairs in harsh salt scenes in our company.
Technologies
■ AIR BRAKE SYSTEM
Incorporating the combo of Magforce Z and an SV Spool, a rotating rotor is kicked out towards the magketic brakes using the spool’s inerti, creating buttery smooth braking pressure. As the spool begins to slow at the end of a cast, the rotor automatically retracts from the magnet- keeping the spool spinning longer, maximizing casting distance.
■ SV CONCEPT
In 2012, Daiwa developed new “bait finesse” reel models in Japan in response to the demands of competition anglers using ultralight setups for baitcasting. But these reels – truly F1-level distillations of the latest technologies – were built for a single purpose, with only the competitors on the bass circuits in the US and Japan using them.
■ TWS [T-Wing System]Daiwa’s revolutionary T-Wing System addresses the issue of traditional line guide/level wind systems constricting line flow by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle and minimal friction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts.
■UTD [Ultimate Tournament Drag]A system that combines ultra smooth low inertia with ultimate fish-stopping power. UTD combines advanced carbon washers, alloy and stainless steel drag plates with specially designed grease for ultra-smooth performance.
